KD's biography

This particular picture is one of my favorite picture. It was taken at Valleyof Fire State Park. It is a Silky Terrier.  Her name is KD (pronounce "katie"). We adopted her at the dog pound in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii (Big Island) on the 17th of March 2003.  She was a year old when we got her. I personally trained her to be my service dog. She was an excellent dog. She learned a few basic signs such as sit, sleep, eat,water, stop, no, outside, roll over, run, and ride (sign mime drive). She loved to ride everywhere. She traveled with us everywhere including Grand Canyon, California, Chicago, Utah(Bryce Canyon and Zion)  and Nevada. Regretably, she passed away on the 17th of April. She was 8 years and 2 months old. We miss her immensely.
